Abersoch, North Wales

In 2011 Westbeech Homes undertook a project to demolish an existing dilapidated cottage and replace it with a modern 5 bedroom detached dwelling.

Planning permission was obtained in 2012 and work began on the project.

As the property is in a conservation area within the village of Abersoch on the Lly Peninsula, strict guidelines were enforced with regards to the style and features of the replacement property which included using local materials and making sure the style was in keeping with other houses within the area.

The finished project resulted in a luxury 5 bedroom detached house that sits within its own grounds of 0.5 acres with panoramic views over Cardigan Bay and Snowdonia.
